12 sheets: counting, letter N, beginning sounds, patterns, add and take away to 5, November 2026 calendar, numbers to 30, answers
These November worksheets for kindergarten bring together a month of practice in 12 sheets: counting, the letter N, beginning sounds, patterns, adding and taking away to 5, numbers to 30 and a real November 2026 calendar. Every picture is a leaf, acorn, pumpkin, pie, turkey or ear of corn, drawn as an outline a child can color.

What is in the 14 pages
- Sheets 1-2: count leaves, then acorns, from 1 to 10, and write the number.
- Sheet 3: find every N and n in a grid of 48 letters that also holds M, H, U, W and Z.
- Sheet 4: beginning sounds. Say the picture’s name and circle its first letter.
- Sheet 5: what comes next, in AB, AAB and ABC patterns.
- Sheet 6: which group has more.
- Sheets 7-8: add pictures, then take away, always within 5.
- Sheet 9: the number before and after, up to 20.
- Sheets 10-11: fill in the November 2026 calendar, then answer six questions from it.
- Sheet 12: write the missing numbers from 1 to 30.
- Last page: every answer, sheet by sheet.
A real calendar, not a blank grid
Sheet 10 is November 2026 as it actually falls. November 1 is a Sunday, so the month starts in the first box, and a small turkey marks Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26. Ten dates are left blank to fill in. Sheet 11 then asks questions a child answers by looking, such as how many Saturdays the month has (four) and what date the first Monday is (November 2).

Letters and sounds for the season
N is for November, so sheet 3 is a letter hunt for N among letters with similar strokes. Sheet 4 uses the same fall pictures for beginning sounds: leaf starts with L, acorn with A, pumpkin and pie with P, turkey with T and corn with C. Having two P pictures is on purpose, so a child sees that different words can share a first sound.

Who it is for
The sheets suit kindergarten, ages about 4 to 6. Pre-K children can do the counting, more or fewer and pattern sheets with help. For more Thanksgiving math, the Thanksgiving math worksheets use the same pictures up to sums within 20. For counting on its own, try the counting worksheets 1-20.
Printing
Print at 100% scale, not Fit to page. The book comes as an A4 PDF and a US Letter PDF with the same sheets. Black ink only, and the pictures are left white for coloring.
Printing this one correctly
In your printer dialog set Scale to 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page. Fit to page shrinks the tracing letters and they stop matching the size a child's hand is learning.
Plain paper is fine for crayons and pencils. If your child uses felt pens, 100 gsm paper stops the ink bleeding to the next sheet.
